A five-module, healing-centered workshop rooted in the lived experiences of Black communities impacted by disability. Using a retrospective post-then-pre evaluation method, this report assesses shifts in knowledge, attitudes, and confidence.
Unstoppable was designed with and for South LA, Gateway Cities, the Antelope Valley, and communities across LA County. Funded through the Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63) and delivered by Health Matters Clinic countywide, the program reaches residents where existing mental health services have historically failed to show up.
